Thank you to EVERYONE who showed enormous passion for the Chicago Fire and generosity towards the efforts of Section 8 Chicago by donating to our tifo fund this week.
We raised almost $3k, and as a result have been able to spend a considerable amount of money on materials for displays this week. Here is the breakdown of the spending.
Confetti: $600
Streamers: $718
Banner Material: $175
Table Rolls: $500
Flags: $350
Total spent: $2,343
And here is how it turned out...

TIfo display in the Harlem End -- table rolls taped together.

At the tailgate, we put together over 100 flags onto poles and handed them out.

In the upper deck, we distributed and coordinated the release of 1,000 red & white streamers and 40lbs of confetti.
The remainder of the fund will be put towards offseason banner projects. If you would like to support these efforts and make Toyota Park even more vibrant in 2010, please feel free to donate to our fund anytime. Thank you all!

If you're accusing us of lying, you can come to our public board meeting on Saturday and ask to see the receipts. Or you could ask the 1,000 people that we handed out streamers and confetti to on the terrace. Weird accusation.
And making 40lbs of red and white confetti in two days yourself is an undertaking you can performance for us next time to save money, then!
